OPA's FIT & MicroFIT Programs

The most lucrative Feed-In Tariff in North America history has arrived in Ontario!

 

The Ontario Power Authority (OPA) has launched two new initiatives for rooftop solar installations. The programs are called FIT and MicroFIT and they will be here to stay for the next two years. Those first to participate in the MicroFIT program will be given the opportunity to rooftop-install up to 10 kilowatts of solar and be paid a twenty year contractually guaranteed price of $0.802 per kilowatt! Those wishing to install more than 10 kilowatts of solar will fall into the FIT program and will be paid a lucrative rate as well.
